When we bought our PC, Kenn had to install, uninstall and reinstall our Operating System(OS) in order for it to work. The first time he installed it, the sound card didn't work so he had to uninstall it and reinstall it to see if it will be compatible and to our surprise, it did. However, we didn't have internet connection at that time so we can't activate our OS to make it a legal copy. when our internet was connected, our copy of windows was tagged as illegal...(lol) so we have to find ways in order to change the PK and register it to be a legal copy (hmmmmp). Tatay had to uninstall it again for the 2nd time, and reinstall it and change the PK.
Finally, when everything was settled, we had a legal copy of windows. But he thought of having 2 partition of windows since we have a big space in our hard disk anyway, and so he did. the other profile was solely for him. For his games and all the stuff that he would like to put in his profile, the other partition was for me and my sister, solely for our needs as well.
Since Friday, our internet has been intermittent and it has not been resolved till now. Grrrrr!
I just noticed that when we log in to the other partition of our OS, the one that is assigned for me and my sister, the DSL light keeps on blinking every two minutes, thus loosing our connection. However, when we log in to Kenn's partition, it stays solid for the longest time and connection is good.
-sigh- I really don't know what is going on now. Dunno if the partition of Windows would matter in connecting to the internet. What do you think?
