We have been waiting for our internet to be connected since Monday. When we bought our PC, we have decided to get Smart Bro connection because it is easy and fast to install, and we don't have to install a phone line to get internet. It's also economical. Unfortunately, when we signed up for it and the technicians visit our house to test the line, there was no signal. I even went to the point of asking them to just double and triple check to make sure that there's no signal but apparently, there was really none. They then advised us just to get PLDT DSL or GLOBE Broadband. After that day, we then decided to go to PLDT officee to check the requirements for the PL
DT MyDSL. When we went there, I was glad that I just had all the necessary documents for me to sign up so on that same day, we were scheduled for installation, however, they told us that installation will take 3-5 business days. The following day, we were surprised that the installer texted us and informed us that the phone line will now be installed. It hasn't pass 24 hours. We were glad. However, that was when Frank was here in Cebu. We were told by the technician after the phone line was installed that we have to wait until we will get a dial tone. We waited, and waited. In fact, three days have passed and there was still no dial tone. I was furious! When we went to their office, we were informed that the cable lines were stolen during the typhoon, so we still have to wait for them to fix it. Today, June 26, 2008, at around 10 in the morning, we spotted a PLDT line man near our place, so we asked him if what was the progress in repairing the phone lines in our area, fortunately, he told us that it will be fix within the day. At 12 noon, when we checked our phone, there was already a dial tone. Yehey! Upon knowing this, I then called PLDT to schedule the installation of the DSL and in no time, we have internet connected... Yehey..Finally, we have internet connection....am now connected!
